Thursday Activity - Psychology & Law: An Interface


On 1st August, 2019 our esteemed guest Dr. Upneet Lalli, Deputy Director, Institution of Correctional Administration Chandigarh, delivered a lecture on the topic "Psychology and Law: An Interface". She discussed the close relationship between psychology and law.   It was an instructive session for students as two distinct disciplines have much in common.

INTRA INSTITUTE MOOT COURT COMPETITION 2018

For students of law, mooting is perhaps the most important skill one must hone. To facilitate the students in getting optimum mooting experience, the Army Institute of Law holds the Intra-Institute Moot Court Competition annually.  The final round of the Intra-Institute Moot Court Competition 2018 was held on the 12th of April 2018. The competition was conducted over 2 preliminary rounds held on 10th and 11th of April 2018 and semi-final and final round held on the 12th. The competition saw 16 teams fighting out the Proposition prepared by Mr. Anil Malhotra, senior advocate. The preliminary and semi-final rounds were presided by faculty members of the institute. Gracing the bench for the final round were Justice Dipak Sibal, Judge, Punjab & Haryana High Court, Prof. Dr. Rattan Singh, Director Panjab University and Mr. Anil Malhotra, Senior Advocate, Punjab & Haryana High Court. Freshers' 2019

On 6th September, 2019 AIL hosted a freshers' party for the new members of AIL- the batch of 2024. The event is organised to welcome the first years, it is on this day that they truly become a part of the AIL family. The event was organised by the batch of 2023 who did an exemplary job at it. It was an evening full of shimmering lights, games, dance and highly excited and energised students. Jannat hayer and Nischay were crowned Miss and Mister Freshers respectively.
